Brief Sweden is facing a mental health crisis with mental health issues affecting all parts of society and its citizens. Design a product system for everyday mental health management that supports its user and raises awareness about mental health and inner well being.
Intention Mental health issues are symptoms of care and concern and shifting mental states are part of being human. Learning about neurotransmitters and our nervous system being a vital connector between brain activity and mental health, the idea of utilizing this powerful structure came to be. How can I create a product that understands and illustrates nerve activity, and supports bodily cues and reactions? Moving away from medical and technical definitions, I came up with the concept of neuro health, aiding a shift of brand emphasis and product purpose. Instead of issues and problems, Felix was invented to promote health, balance and understanding.
Felix is a two-part product setup consisting of a wearable (Felix Do) and an application (Felix Tell). Together, they manage daily analysis, electro stimulation and neuro activity summaries. Felix uses a local machine learning platform performing according to a neuro particular data base and specific user response analysis. The digital product is designed to be clear, logical and transparent providing data in a minimal way, and disclosing any stimulation carried out.
Since Felix work for and with the body, the brand mirrors the beauty of the body in both visuals and identity. Red, skin and clot hues make up for the brand basis and creates a warm, human and emotional edge. The logotype communicates flow in an androgynous and structured way, creating tension against the other passionate parts of the brand.
