Iridica is a company focused on enabling the widespread adoption of green hydrogen by addressing the scarcity of iridium, a critical material in the production process. The visual identity positions the company within the field of deep tech, grounded in scientific precision while reflecting a forward-looking and adaptive approach. The system takes its point of departure in the logic of the innovation itself, translating complex atomic structures into a more efficient sheet format. This movement from three-dimensional complexity to planar reduction becomes a central narrative, reflecting Iridica’s ability to transform material constraints into scalable solutions. A cube serves as the fundamental visual unit, referencing modularity, reproducibility, and an engineering-led methodology. As these units align and consolidate into a continuous surface, the logotype articulates a process of refinement and optimisation. The progression establishes a visual rhythm that mirrors the company’s work, where complexity is systematically reduced into functional and repeatable forms. Typography and layout follow a structured and restrained approach. A consistent grid system supports clarity and legibility, reinforcing a sense of technical rigour while allowing for variation across applications. The compositions balance density and openness, creating a visual language that feels both stable and adaptable. The palette and material choices are deliberately minimal, drawing on associations with industrial processes and scientific environments. This reduction of elements reflects the company’s own focus on efficiency and material precision, where each component serves a defined purpose. Together, the identity operates as an integrated system, situating Iridica at the intersection of research and application. It communicates a practice concerned not only with technological advancement, but with the translation of that advancement into viable, real-world impact.
